If you get a low end paint job...this will create more work for the spray guys when you want the good paint put on. If you are going to have it media blasted to remove the low end paint, no worries. Better yet, leave it and when the time is right, get it done in one shot. Spending the projected $600 is a portion toward the good stuff. Looking for a top notch premium shop (no Macco garbage) in the OC area.
I need to get the hood repainted (too many chips). Plus a few spots on other panels have bird poop etched in it, so for that I'd like to get it fixed some how without getting the panels repainted. I understand the Lexus factory paint jobs are top notch and nothing can come close to it so that's why I'd rather not have those panels repainted.
