I actually have the authentic TTE lip...I'm painting it to match my car because I recently did a color change which was hooked up from a friend up north...I didn't want to drive up there to just get my lip AND roof spoiler painted...But if you're serious about hitting them up, let me know, we can all meet up. There's no orange peel on my lip. That was just after i had polished the head lights and fog lights, some water and polish residue must have gotten onto the lip and bumper.

My buddy does great work, hes trying to get his shop running. Hes using his dad's shop for now, reasonable price uses Dupont paint only. He shot my friends bumper, hardly any orange peel to it.

Im in the market for a used IS350, but its extremely hard to find the color combination i want for interior and exterior. I was wondering roughly how much a paint job for a is350 would be?

honestly, i have had my car painted here flat black, my buddies e92 m3 widebody matte red, my mom's car, two of my friends fully modded 2is and have never had a problem. The owner is an unbelievable paint matcher and his ability to bring your car back to new is unreal. He works with high performance shops too so you can get all your custom needs. Overall, i would recommend this shop to anyone in the socal area. They are located in van nuys in los angeles and should definetly give them a call.

Currently in Irvine but I'm willing to drive a bit for a decently good priced repair shop. Scraped my car the other day ruining the paint on the bumper and denting the fender a bit. Went to OC body and repair and was quoted $1700 to repair that small spot mainly since they said they had to repaint the ENTIRE bumper, hood, door, and fender. Thought I would get CL's opinion on the cost and if anyone had any good recommendations for repairs!

Seems like they want to repaint all those parts because they want to blend surrounding areas. I can tell you now though, since your car looks to be SFP, its gonna be a pain in the *** to paint match correctly. You will probably notice the difference between the original painted areas and the newly painted areas. Are you going to go thru insurance for this repair? Not sure about any shops in OC, but the Longo Lexus Collision Center does good work. It won't be cheap though, so i'd only go there if you're going thru insurance.
