Default Anyone with an SC with Tein Flex or CS or Basic?

I am still indecisive about which coilover to get and would like to meet up with one of u guys who have the aforementioned Tein coilovers so I can see how stiff or comfy they are. So if ur in Orange County and have some spare time, please hit me up on AIM at zknowonez so we can meet up or somethin. I just dont want to dork a grip of money on a setup that I wouldnt like. Thanks!

I've been reading alot of stuff and from what I've read I just cant conclude if the Tein CS would be good enough for occasional mountain runs. Also it takes a white to receive the Tein CS. The Flex is undoubtedly a better performer but I have concerns with its comfort level. Some are okay with it and some say its too harsh even at its lowest setting. That is why I wanna ride in one too see if its too rough for me.

ugh....still indecisive about which one to buy? Didn't I already tell you that Tein CS's are no good for mountain runs?

Get the Flex's, if money is a problem, get the SS...

Money isnt the problem in this situation nor is the waiting time for the CS. Im just really tempted to go with the Flexes but i was afraid that it might be unbearable

For the SC, the SS looks like (on paper) a very good compromise system. It lacks the height adjustability/flexibility of the Flex but I don't think you need that as much for a street car. The spring rates on the SS are the same as the Flex so hanlding should be great. The SS uses the OEM upper mounts so ride quality should be better than the Flex. The only real unknown is how the shocks are valved.

Plus, the price is right.

Oh, and I also agree with the buy from TM.

All reasons why I chose to go with the Tein Super Streets. The Basics are okay, but I never like to have the "base model" of any product and for only $200 more you can have 16-way dampening adjustability and EDFC compatibility. I don't take my car to the track and I rarely go on canyon runs...but what I DO get involved in regularly is aggressive street driving and that's why for me the choice was the SS. They should be on my car in a week or so when I can spare the time to have the car out of my possession for a day.

Good choice for the SC. Not as clear cut for the GS but that's another matter.
