Question LA food recommendations?

Hey SoCal Chapter,

I'm heading out to LA in a little over a week and wanted to see if you had any recommendations on great "local" places to eat while I'm there. I'm going to be staying in Long Beach, but also spending time in Redondo Beach and Carson while TM Engineering takes care of my GS!

Any suggestions?

There are way to many restaurants in those three areas to list! What kind of food are you looking for, something good, any particular kind of food? Something unique that you can't get anywhere else?

Thanks for the feedback so far. I have heard that a trip to Pink's was in order. I would love some good Asian/Thai food or one hell of a BBQ place. Also, a good breakfast place wouldn't hurt either.

I really want something that you can only get there. I have been on way too many trips before where someone in the group was like "hey, let's go to TGIFridays or Subway."

What is the fun in traveling if you don't try something new or hit up the local hot spots?

You can try going to Downtown Long Beach on Pine street or hit Shoreline drive. They have a bunch of different types of food you can choose from and a lot of bars too. You should check it out.
