Hi folks,

I'll be down in San Diego on business in February but will have some free time... I haven't been down in 25 years! What are some of the must do's?

We enjoy wandering Hotel Del, La Jolla and Seaport...typical tourist stuffs that are easily accessible. Old Town too but parking is a PITA at peak times. Depending what is being exhibited, I like going to Balboa Park to take in anything interesting. Last year it was Jeff Bridges Widelux panoramic photographs.

The Gaslamp district in Downtown has been
redesigned and is pretty cool for outoftowners
lots of bars shops and resuraunts,
La Jolla is nice for walking around too.
Check the new Baseball Park in the Gaslamp while
your there.

for night life- Pacific Beach

if you have to shop- go to Las Americas at San Ysidro.

Definately go to Balboa Park. You can see the museums in the afternoon, get tickets for a show/play at the Old Globe in the evening, and have dinner at The Prado. Make a whole day out of it.
