Stolen Valet key

where'd you lose it? I think that yes, the valet key will open and start your car no problem, I just think it can't get into the locked glovebox or if you lock the gas door/trunk opener buttons. Otherwise it's as good as a regular key.
I may be wrong though.

You cannot disable your valet key and it does open doors and start engine. You will have to reprogam the whole thing which costs about $1,500 so it's not worth it.
Do you have any idea where you lost it? If it's random place like a club or restaurant then I wouldn't worry about your car getting stolen.

Sorry to hear about your situation.
In addition to the suggestions above, I'd call the valet agency (if you remember where you lost the key, you can ask them for the agency name and #) to see if they "misplaced" it somewhere, and track down who was working that day to narrow down who the suspect may be.
Good luck.
EDIT: Maybe I misunderstood, I assumed the valet agency took the key...

You can replace all the exterior lock cylinders, or go a step further and have the immobiliser lock out the lost key so the vehicle cannot be started.
Good luck,

Is she able to do a DYI on something like that? Are there instructions for it anywhere?
