LOL...no way am I entering a bbq cookoff. But I'm looking forward to this, finally get to taste the best bbq like I've seen on the Food network. It's sponsored by the Kansas bbq association or something like that? It all sounds good is all I can say. Yummy.

I love it when they do the BBQ cookoffs on FoodTV. Everything looks so damn good.
I even run out to get meat to bbq after watching the show.. doesnt look as good after I was done cooking. lol

 

same here, i am such a big fan of steak, and seeing the steak cookoff on foodnetwork that was such a torture on me

It's from 10 am until 5 pm.

I live in Hollywood, 5 minute drive from Griffith Park, but if you guys want to meet somewhere close by I'll meet you first and lead the caravan since I know exactly where inside the park it's located.

(It's the same parking lot as the zoo so there's ample parking available.)

btw after looking at the site, it seems like there will be stuff on 4/7 also. not sure which day is the best to go sample?

I think the night before is some kind of jazzfest?

The actual cook off is on Saturday.
