I have also been popped too many times for minute things. Sometimes there’s no way around it. Once right when I got off the fwy I was pulled over by a motorcycle for having clear lights!
Okay as requested here are some streets that may help:
If partying on Sunset blvd use Fountain which runs parallel just south of the blvd. It starts off as a small street with stops signs by the 101 but then opens up. I usually drive on Sunset till I get to La Bra then jump on Fountain.
If Hollywood blvd is your poison take the Gower exit (from the 101) to fountain and hang a left. Fountain is North of Hollywood blvd and also runs parallel. Their may be some traffic there but not too many cops.
