im planning a trip with some family and friends. i dont mean sea world and the zoo, i mean the hot spots. clubs and drinking spots and the sort. ive never been and i have always wanted to go. so now that im going, i need to know whats what. san diegoans, react to me.........

A half hour drive from San Diego is Pechanga, which is a resort and casino. You can get your grub and gambling on. Also, Club Silk is pretty happening in the weekends.

The hot spot in SD right now is a club called Stingaree. I would recommend going there on a Friday night if you like hip-hop. There are 3 floors one of which is a nice outdoor patio which is quiet enough to throw game at the ladies. I would recommend going to On Broadway on Saturday. This is the largest club in SD. It used to be a bank and they have several areas: 2 hip-hop areas, a techno/house floor, an '80's area and usually a live band area. Other clubs of note are: Belo, Decos and Aubergine. If you and your friends are real adventurous, we can hop across the border into Tijuana and I can show you some places that shouldn't be discussed on an open forum!

Also, if you have never been to SD, there are several site seeing spots (if you're into that) that you should definitely visit.

No serously, On Broadway, Auburgine, or if you are younger head down to my town, Pacific Beach, lots of cheap bars one after another.

If its day time, go rent a jet ski and hit Mission Bay, night have a bon fire at any of the beaches, Crown Point, La Jolla Shores, Fiesta Island.
