Does anyone know if that huge fire is still raging by Castaic off the 5 fwy? I hope we don't have problems tomorrow.

I'm wondering the same thing. I went onto the CHP website and couldn't find any info on it, traffic-wise.

Side note, has anyone noticed how bright and orangy the sun has been because of the fire? Today it was a huge orange orb. Not that I was staring at it but from a quick glance, it was amazing.

We've used channel 13 or 13.8 on our previous convoy's, flipside909 should be very familar with our Wine Country Cruise.

Just so you guys know, we made the trip without any prboblems. Except for ryan showing up 1 hr late.

See... two years in a row. If you just followed my lead and let me take my sweet time getting ready this morning rather than rushing me like crazy, we would've been there at a time closer to the time that everyone else had arrived, which would have resulted with us not having to kill about an hour in Circuit City.
