my wheels are riddled with scrapes and scratches from mounting/dismounting tires with townfair tire. Theyre popular in New england.... but yeah, theyre no better than firestone. My wheels were 600 for the set, so its not as big of a deal really....

Yeah man, I'd write a letter thanking him and just not go back there for anything ever again. You lucked out, because I've never heard of someone getting reimbursed for something like that, especially from a second rate company like Firestone when they had someone else bring in the car/wheels for the work. Thank your lucky stars man, now you know...and "knowing is half the battle" as GI Joe says!
