Default Look what Firestone did...

My girlfriend took my wheels to Firestone so they can dismount my tires. I wanted to go get my wheels repaired, so all they had to do was remove the tires, and this is what I came home to. my g/f didn't even know.

I avoid Firestone with passion. Too many past issues with that company. Best of luck with dealing with them.

dang...I feel you man.

I'd be so angry if they did this to my rims. You have to get a reinbursement for this, totally unacceptable.

You seem surprised by this, I don't know why. Firestone has had a crappy rep for years now, and you trusted them to do something simple and they messed up. Big surprise

Why didn't you go to MagMasters since you're down that way? Surely you knew Firestone does crappy work and hires lacksadaisical individuals to represent the company?

I doubt they do anything at all for you unfortunately, 'cause they're a POS operation and I avoid them like the Avian flu. Plus your girlfriend took the car in to do the work, not you personally so that's a loophole they will try to wiggle through to evade responsibility. They're going to blame it on your girlfriend and deny that they did it. Remember, when it comes to things you truly care about don't leave it to hope and chance, do some research and go somewhere reputable.

I just came back from firestone and the wheel repair place, and wheel repair place gave me a quote and I brought it to firestone and the manager reimbursed me. So i guess it worked out well, but obviously I'm not going to any firestone's again.

Well, I thought since they are a pretty big company, they would take care of the wheels, obviously they need to hire better trained employees.

The manager was quite helpful and painless, perhaps he had problems like this before and knows how to handle it. I might even write him a thank you letter and maybe even send a copy to Firestone's corporate office.

Now I know to go to specialty shops as opposed to national chain stores.
