What are some of you paying for your cable or Sat TV?

Mo-in-law now retired, is bored of the broadcast channels. She asked me to look into cable/sat offerings and let her know. Her cable provider is Adelphia and to me, $51*/month of basic and expanded basic is a bit high.

Compared to me, I'm paying $35*/month from Wavecable.

i have adelphia and im paying close to 100 bucks with basic cable and lowest cable internet. some ridculous price spiking and not many other alternatives either...

for tv picture and sound quality, i like Directv. i had directv back in the days (HU card) and their digital tv experience was excellent.

if you choose cable, just remember that cable companies recieve their broadcast via satellite, then distribute to consumers via cable.

I have Charter and I think I am ~$110 a month for basic, expanded, all movie channels, 3 digital boxes and 3MB Internet service. It's a fair deal, I suppose.

I'm paying a little over $100 at Adelphia for digital cable + HDTV signals and cable modem.

I pay almost $200 with Time Warner + Road Runner Premium and DVR and one premium channel.... crazy.
