I helping out with a car show that'll be taking place October 14 in Monterey Park. Trying to see if there might be enough interests to get some seperate import sedan class trophies going.

The show has been goin on for a few years but we're trying to expand it to more late model cars.

Also looking for vendors and sponsors.

Hey, I lived in Monterey Park for ... well, a long time. Why haven't I heard of a car show that's been going on for "a few years." Hmmm, I guess I have been under a rock. heh

i think this show is like last year. i remember it's like a show at a park or high school

I only remember of one car show, and it was at Alhambra High.

Show is at Barnes Park, behind city hall. Saturday, October 14. Yeah, mostly hotrods in the past. This is a city sponsored show. Organizers willing to go with VIP type classes if we get enough entries. I think fee is like $20-$25, free for spectators.

20-25 and this isn't for charity? Just so you know, showoff and hot import nights shows are usually 45-55.
