yo tommy, how do u like the bilstein shox? wut springs are u running? Im looking to get some bilstein shox and swift springs on my sc and wondering how it compares to stock. Id like to have a really nice riding suspension, with some performance in mind.

I currently have l-tuned springs. I originally had l-tuned springs and shocks, but the l-tuned shocks only lasted like 50k, so i switched to Bilstein sports. I love them. Just perfect for me. l-tuned were just about stock, little stiffer, but the bilsteins are even stiffer. I think its perfect for me and my driving style, stiff but not too stiff, where you feel ever bump. I have built my car to handle as you can see from all my suspension mods. If you like to have a really nice riding suspension, with some performance in mind, I would definitely recommend the bilstein shocks. And can't go wrong with lifetime warranty either.

i don't have a ton of time to write more or post more photos but here are a couple of the more memorable photos of the trip...

no scenery, no blinging rims, etc...

From left to right: Side to side acceleration in g forces, speedo, forward and backward acceleration...

Can't read that left gauge?

Here's a zoom up...

1+ g force...

Taken on the highway 1 on the way home after EOS.

That was a fun run... & my 1st real "hard" test on the one & only Raptor Supercharger in the Western Hemisphere!... I have a development deal with Raptor Superchargers in Australia & the 1st one here has only been in my car for a month & that trip north was the 1st long road trip on it.... the run we did together to what 135MPH. . .was the hardest I have had the opportunity to push it since it was installed...What a beauty!! the thing was Singing like a 747 taxiing for take off since it was spinning at about 50k RPM when i lifted !!

Nice of you to play cool & look forward to seeing you here when the GS is yours...

Dang guys, I'm really upset that I didn't get the chance to roll with you. I made it to EOS 2,3,4. I missed the first and last one! As many of you know, I've completely parted out the car and now rolling stock. Just wouldn't have been the same bringing a stock ride...lol. Damn thing is a slug I tell ya. I truly miss my boost.

I'm glad all of you had a great time and a safe trip. Maybe next year... Edgy, glad to see you got the new prototype SC running strong. Need to see her in person bro.

Glad you all made it home safe. Way to represent SoCal.

Here's another convoy pic - this is James' car with his legendary blue tape job...

And this guy almost killed half of the convoy by himself!!!

Anybody remember this Volvo?

This dog obviously wants a Lexus...

And finally, who can forget the CL Speedwash System!!!

ha yeah, as he was passing me up there was a huge dip on the left lane. all you could see is a big cloud of white dust, which i'm assuming came from his rear bumper's paint/fiberglass.

ouch.
