im looking at a 99 LS400 to replace my wrecked 95 (thread on that soon) and i need a shop near SD to do the pre-buy inspection for me. i contaced Kearny Mesa Lexus and Lexus of El Cajon and both said it would take 2-3hrs+ and they couldnt do it on sat.

yes i need it done TODAY (sat. nov. 18, 2006)

basically i want a full diagnostic, fluid/motor check (etc...), all the body panels checked for VIN, signs of repair work, etc...

any help is appreciated

hmm... i was gonna suggest carrillo's auto body but i think they don't do much on saturdays but who knows, might as well give it a try...

i think a lot of places won't do stuff on saturdays. have you tried any of the toyota dealers?

thanks for the tip, managed to get Toyota of El Cajon to do a pre-buy inspection (excluding OBDII diagnostic) for <$100

I know this is late, but TLC (Toyota Lexus Care) in Kearny Mesa is a good independent shop. I get my regular work done there.

Yeah, just M-F. It isn't a big operation, but the guys know their stuff. I go there instead of the Kearny Mesa dealer.
