I'm not sure if anyone else listens to AJs Playhouse (93.3) in the morning but pretty much they're holding a toy drive for Children's Hospital. I donated last year and saw a couple car clubs going there to drop off a large amount. The goal of this year is 60,000 toys. I figured it would be pretty cool if we were able to roll up and donate some toys all together.

I know, I know. Everyone is on a tight budget because it's christmas but you can even donate a DVD you don't watch anymore, NEW toys, or anything that you would have enjoyed when you were a kid. I've posted this on MY.IS and there will be a couple people joining.

AJ'S KIDS CRANE 2006
Before we know it the holidays will be here once again, and this year AJ will once again raise toys for the patients of Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego in our fifth annual “AJ’s Kids Crane”!

AJ will once again live in the parking lot of IKEA in Mission Valley starting, Thursday, December 7, 2006 and will not come down until he raises 60,000 toys for AJ's Kids! He will eat, sleep, broadcast live (and even go to the bathroom!) from the top of his Kids crane!! We also have toy drop-off locations at various L & L Hawaiian BBQ restaurants all over San Diego County.

When: Sunday December 10th, 2006

Time: 6pm (after the charger game)

Where: We can meet in the parking lot of Fry's electronics. When you come into the parking lot, make a left and that back corner is usually empty.

We will leave promptly @ 6:15pm and drive to Ikea to donate the toys/gifts

After we donate the toys, we can all go out to eat somewhere.. ANY SUGGESTIONS?!??

I listen to AJ's playhouse every morning and was going to go make a donation myself, but if we can get a bunch of CL members together and make an appearance, that would be awsome. I'll show up if we get a good following.

I'm in. My girlfriend and I recently went to Toys R Us and bought 10 gifts to dontate to TOYS FOR TOTS but I can save them so I can donate when we all go. Set up a meeting spot and time and lets do this!

I think he already setup a meeting spot... Fry's Electronics parking lot @ 6pm and then we all caravan over to Ikea where the Toy Drive is behing held.

So far, there's going to be 4-5 of us from the my.is site attending and i'll be bringing some other friends along.

I talked to my bestfriend about it and he was thinking about rallying up the Evo people together to see who can bring more toys? I dunno.. what do you guys think?

Okay so Club RSX of SD was invited by one of the other members on my.is.

Here's the thing, since the game will be ending around 5pm, do you guys think there will still be traffic in the mission valley area around 6:30pm? If so, did you guys want to change the time of the meet up or just eat first then cruise down there?

Well, it's mission valley so there's always traffic, lol. but by 6:30, most of the heavy stadium traffic should be gone by then. Whatever you decide will work for me.

We're sticking to the schedule of meet @ Fry's 6:00pm and leave 6:15-6:30pm. So far, we should have about 10-12 people to be going... that is, if nobody flakes.

I regret to inform that I'm going to be one of the flakes this time around... I've already got my gift (exo-force lego set) but i've got a movie date and the movie starts at 7pm
