103 mph Speeding Ticket

Or is this your version of "oh crap, maybe I was totally wrong?"
Cause it seemed to me like you were coming on here with chapter and verse about what's not legal for the cops to do.
Very curious, where'd you hear that anyway?

As long as you learned something from this experience, it's not all bad....even if the fine and penalties are harsh. I don't mean learning how to beat the system, but rather, learn that what you did was very dangerous and driving at such speed puts you at great risk of killing yourself and/or other innocent drivers. I know young drivers with fast cars wanna speed on the highway, but just know that you have a responsibility as well for having such a fast car. God forbid if something tragic happened and people got killed, then this whole legal/monetary thing would seem quite insignificant in comparison. Consider this a chance to learn from your mistake, and any penalty taken is merely "tuition" for a lesson in life.
I know i sound like a nagging old fart.... but just know that I was young once, and I made some stupid *** mistakes that I cannot ever change. If someone offered me good advice 10 years ago, things woulda been different...

i am jerrys friend, Brian. i was the one who got the speeding ticket on the 5. and the CHP circled "infraction" and not "misdemeanor" on the ticket. when i got home i also looked up the code on the DMV website that the CHP wrote on the ticket and pulled up the penalties. they are up to a $500 fine and or 30 day suspension of liscence. im not that worried about not being granted traffic school. ive had my liscence for 2 1/2 years and is clean. the infraction keeps it under $500. and thats straight out of the DMV code book. i get the papers in the mail in a week or so i will keep you guys updated on what options they give me.

Luckily I haven't had to use him, but I've had friends use him many times. A couple of friends haven't gotten off, but most have. And he has gotten one of my buddy's off on 5 or 7 tickets. From what I've been told, but make sure John is the one that represents him.
