A girl suddenly stops in a parking lot and reverses really quickly and hits my IS250 in the front with her rear... And I need a really good body shop in Orange County Near Fullerton. Does anyone know a really good body shop? I was thinking about going to the dealer but I dont know if they record it on my cars record... should I go to the dealer?

I'd hope the girl's insurance is going to pay for it... and if the insurance is involved, then it will be on your record. Otherwise she can pay you out of her pocket, etc...

You can go to the dealership for an estimate for insurance purposes, and you may also check out a repair shop for a second rate/opinion.

If it's your insurance, you may want to go for the cheaper (yet good) alternative to save $$.
If it's her insurance, go for the best.

I don't think they're put it on your car's record unless you go through insurance on it... you should check out the regional threads and post in there according to where you live... local guys around you would probably be able to be a little bit more helpful on info on a good local bodyshop...

if you don't mind the drive, Sixteen Custom at Gardena is the place I recommend. it is located right off 91 and 110 FWY interchange. FYI, regardless if you take it to the dealership or not if insurance is involved and the repair exceed something like over 500 (not 100% on the amount but i recalled it is small), you will receive a letter from DMV to report the incident. I believe this will somehow get on the record (somewhere) that the car has involved in an accident. Six months ago I had a small incident where a girl who has no insurance hit my GS on the front quarter when she ran a red light. Although damages were minor but i received the letter regardless.
