no man. there was no way possible. everybody was suprised i didnt get my liscence suspended. he said there was absolutely, 100% sure, no way possible i could get it. maybe that was his personal rule (i wont give anybody traffic school for 100+). im sure there people out there that have gotten in. but in my case, there was no way that could happen. im fine with that though. this incident was totally out of character for me. i never do that, so im not worried about ther points. they will fall off my record over time.

when i was 17 and full of **** and vinegar, my first speeding ticket was for 100+ it was 30 day suspension, $300 something fine and points on my license. that was a fun month.

The only time I've ever been caught speeding was when I was doing 113 in an old beat up LeSabre, and the CHP that pulled me over was nice enough to write a 97mph ticket. Pricey...I invested in a good radar detector and began paying attention.

Not saying I haven't sped since...I know for a fact the cruise control works on the LS at 130, and the ride quality is surprisingly good at that speed. But I try to temper my adrenaline needs with more sense nowadays. And I agree with the above, good on you for manning up and admitting to it instead of trying to weasel out.

wow only 30 day suspension? I would think they would take away your license until you're 18 or something. Were you living in CA? Cause I am. haha.

Get an attorney. As your work involves driving you will most likely get a restricted license. 100+ on the 405. Where did you have the room to do that.

Our office manager got popped by the CHP about a month ago on the 15 headed to Vegas- airplane radioed it down. She got written for 112.

She went to court in Barstow last Thursday, mandatory appearance. She said there were 50+ people there who had been nailed for 100+.

Apparently, anything over 100mph is an $800 minimum fine and no traffic school allowed. Her bill was $1200 and an immediate 30 day license suspension (she can drive to work and home). She was in tears... IMO, could have been worse; at least she didn't cause an accident or anything.
