You Mean Ever Since They Remodeled?..* No I Have Not. But Before They Did Yes I Have..* Come To Think Of It, The Only Reason I Went Up There Is Becuz It Was A Make Out Spot
i went a few days after they reopened it and it was packed. you do have to make reservations but it's worth it. the planetarium was the best part. i've been meaning to go back to see it again. totally worth the money.
It was alright... wasn't as packed when I went. (2 weeks after it was re-opened). But I did go on a Thursday... same day they filmed the Victoria's Secret fashion show at Kodak theatre.
I recommend parking at the LA Zoo lot and taking the shuttle if they are still restricting the parking spots. The Kodak spot was too congested to get to.. and takes another hour to get to the observatory. I'd also say it's better to go right before sunset... that way you can see the things that would be good to watch during daylight, and the night time stars when it gets dark.
I went there couple weeks ago and didnt look like they did much for being closed 5 years. I didnt see any shows, just walked around. I orderd tickets online, but when i got to the zoo parking the guy said you could buy tickets from the zoo parking lot same day.
