Looking for school for Nursing (RN) or Resp. T.) any of u guys know where to go - private or comm. college. Did some research from friends but I need more sources. I'm planning on taking it sometime this year and I've heard it's really hard to get in - there's just too much students and school staffs/teachers arn't that many. Anyhow if there's anything else that u guys can suggest I would highly app. it - I'm in LA btw so am looking around the area - I'm planning on doing it full time, i'll be off of work soon so MODS is about to "LOCK-DOWN" and will be turned off the soonest
Thanx in adv. guys...

american career college, good way to start ur LVN then move somewhere else for RN.. Mt. St. Marys college in westwood or near usc is good... my brother and his gf both graduated from both of those schools, my cousin is now going to mt st marys, and my other friend is in the program at PCC, i hear its hard though, also, rio hondo offers a program by raffle only, cal state la also, UCLA i think is hard, i hear UCLA isnt as good as mt st marys, yea just research a bit more at every school u can.
hope that helps a little

BSN - CSULA, CSULB, Mt. St. Mary, APU, UCLA
AA - Mt. SAC, Rio hondo, PCC, GCC, LACC, LA trade tech
LVN - a whole bunch of trade schools, don't kno them
If you did well in your sciences, you'll have a good chance, if you have a GPA > 3.5, you're pretty much guaranteed to get in, BSN is very hard to get into, hundreds apply, and only 60-70 admitted
i go to CSULA, gonna graduate in june with my BSN....good luck
I got plans for grad school or even med school
if you plan on upward mobility, i suggest trying to get into a BSN program
