So i was driving on the 71, and i see this scion just ZOOM pass me going at least 120, while I was going 75 mph. I was like okay he is going to get a ticket, he is just asking for it. This happen on Pine Ave Exit, so 3-4 miles later, i see that stupid scion in front me and i then i see flashing lights behind me. So i was thinking HA he got caught, so i change lane, so the cop can catch him but the cop also changed his lane and told me to exit. After we stopped, I was like officer didn't you see that scion zoom pass me, he was going at least 120 mph. He responds was nope, i saw you. Then i was like okay can I see the radar please, he was like i didn't catch you by radar, I paced you back in Pine Ave Exit. So he wrote me up for 88 mph, WTF, i know for a fact i was going MAX 80,. cause I had my orange reminder set at 80 and everytime i reached that I would slow down.

To add insult to injury, he marked a fix it ticket for my license plates cause i did not put them on yet. I received it on Monday and was going to wait till Saturday to put them on. So NOW i gotta put them on and drive to the nearest CHP and have them stamp it.

So what is my chances of fighting this..

im surprised you got caught on the 71....when i used to live out there i almost never saw CHP out on the 71.

About the plate ticket. Couldnt you just say you didnt receive the plates in the mail?? That sticker on your front windshield that the dealer puts on is good for 6 months. Did you just tell the cop that you just havent put it on yet???

My plates came in a month ago and I still havent put them on. Not planning on it either until a few more months.

The 71 is pretty wide open and there are a lot more cops then there used to be. Also, look out for the Carmaro cop cars on the 71as well. They arent as obvious as your normal black and white.

He wrote that fix it ticket before I could explain anything. I think he had it in his computers that it was already send.

theres always chp on the 71 right after chino hillsprkway hes always posted right there, well i see him most of the time.
