I get mine at Super Auto Bacs. You can get them direct from Amsoil as well.

I buy amsoil at Honda world on Beach blvd (down the steet from overpriced autobacs).

Depending on what grade of oil you need, they're cheaper than even amsoil's website.

5w-20 was $5.75 or so. I dont remember but it's around there. Walmart across the street sells mobil 1 for $6 or so.

10w-40 was $4 something.

Plus they have Amsoil ATF (type t-iv compatible) for $8.70. Amsoil direct sells it for $9.05 i think. the difference is little, but when you factor in shipping cost and how many quarts you buy, you can save a few bucks. Plus it's local so no waiting.

$30 6 qts. + $9 filter + tax = around $42

If you can find the 5qt. bottle somewhere, just buy an extra qt. for the filter. You shoudl always keep a qt. in your trunk anyway.

I'm not sure if the Genuine Toyota filters are any better, cuz ive never used M1/Amsoil filters.

I use em cuz my friend works at Longo Lexus, and the filters are pretty cheap, so i buy em in bulk. From what ive heard, there shouldn't be that big of a difference in Toyota, Amsoil, M1 filters. (correct me if im wrong)

Some people like using the filters straight from Japan on the Aristo's? Those can get pricey, and i doubt they make a substantial difference.

Ah, So amsoil is still a bit pricier than M1. I get the 5 qt from walmart for about $23

Let me know if the switch to Amsoil makes a big difference. If it does, then a couple dollars is nothing to fret over.

Mobil 1 5-30. ditto on the wal-mart thing. cant beat that price. I wanted to try Royal Purple. It has proven to produce a few extra horses but it doesnt protect nearly as well. Many will want to argue this, but I did the reasearch. BTW, the report I used to make my decision was sponsored by Amsoil.

I am still going to stand by my German Castrol 0W30, worlds better than Mobil 1 0W40 I was running.
