what time is good for me to leave? i'm coming from san diego and i don't wanna hit traffic...

Hummmm.

I would say

maybe around 6 o'clock.... that gives you 2 hr's You might need 3hr's considering i'm local and it takes me 1Hr:3omin to get there on a decent day

well i think mapquest says like 1 1/2 hours... but i dont exactly drive speed limit and i'm hoping my friends will join so i can use the carpool lanes. so with my driving it would be like 1-1 1/4 hours but traffic will push it to like 2 hours... damn it would suck if it took 3 hours...

the more the merrier! i've been having an urge to drive lately... more than usual so that drive to LA will be a lot quicker than mapquest says... hopefully.
