Default Another Horror Story at Longo!!!

So I had some power-steering problems with my truck, took it to Longo since I used to trust them. My SA was David Funk, usually I try to get Man Wong but I didn't have an appointment. It was all good until he left a message saying " Dont get angry when you see your car, we broke the snorkel." I got furious when I heard those words. I rushed down and asked for the manager, she was nice took a look at the damage and understood what I was so angry about. She told me that Longo Lexus will pay for a new snorkel. I always decline the wash and even told him, no wash before I left, don't think he heard me since I'm only 17. He put it through the wash anyway, I looked at my rear and still saw mud/dirt and was like you didn't even finish, It's not the pursuit of perfection but the pursuit of imperfection. Then she took $200 off my bill. All my previous SA's know not to take my LX in for a wash, look at the snorkel it won't fit.

Note: This is what a previous SA said about my Snorkel;

The damage is not that bad but I still have to order and wait about week to get the new part and it looks horrible with zip ties, lol

The snorkel tube is intact, the scoop got bent and the grill was broken.

Thats what I'm going to do when I take it to Lexus of Glendale, one facing inside and one facing outside. I was also informed by a friend to wrap a bag around my snorkel at night or when the car is not in use so no liitle critter enters the air-intake due to the grill of the snorkel being broken.

why not? You'll want it if you do off-roading, especially in the mud and such.
