would love to take care of my sc430 myself...is this something i can figure out by hitting the owner's manual for a couple of hours or does it require taking up apprenticeship...
i am severely challenged when it comes to cars and i would very much like to change that

^Its very very very simple, it should take 30 mins or less. Google around on how to change oil.

Like other have stated above, go to walmart buy oil and oil filter. Go home and do it yourself. It'll save you the money.
