Where's a good place for Brunch in San Diego?
Title says it all.
I'm celebrating my birthday this weekend in San Diego. I'll be with friends and family, so it'll be a relatively big group. We don't want to head on over to Mexico because of the chaos of Cinco de Mayo.
The Del has a great brunch, but we don't want to spend $40 for brunch. About $20-25 per person would be great.
Something more healthy would be a plus. It should also be kid-friendly; we have a couple of toddlers coming along.

Well, this isn't SD specific, but I've always liked the food at Karl Strauss, and there's one in Downtown SD, and La Jolla...went to the one in Downtown SD for lunch/brunch and it was roomy and family-friendly...food was good, and maybe you can even grab a few early drinks when no one in your party is looking...

Seeing your Ducati at the meet was nice. You even offered to let me ride it. I think that beauty needs to stay intact in one piece

As for a good place to brunch, I'm not sure about price-wise but the Hotel Del Coronado is a nice spot. I've never eaten there or anything but locale wise, it's very scenic. Maybe you can check out their website and find out about prices and such...

As for Hotel Del Coronado, I found out that their Sunday Brunch is actually $60 a person!!!
