you should all give respect to all the firemen out there battling this fire at griffith park. its so hot out there and they are braving it for those who live near and all who enjoy one of the biggest parks in the States.
i heard 1 person is being held for questioning...if its that person, they should set fire to his house and see how he likes it (hahaha), j/k

 

Oh I appreciate fire fighters....I'm angry at the idiot who started the fire. I heard he burnt himself and was taken to hospital. If it was him, they should let him burn.
I grew up around here and I'm very sad to see Griffith Park destroyed because of a ****. I was glad to hear the zoo, Gene Autry museum and carousel are okay, now I'm worried about the observatory.

 

Dang... that heat really kicked up for the past 2 days... I knew something like this was going to happen, it usually does... Same thing happened over in Angels Crest awhile back ago...

 

Man. I wanted to make an appointment to see the observatory. We should do a CL meet there.

live couple of blocks from the 5/134 freeway (Colorado) am SKERD!!! i've been watching this the whole night!!! just waiting for the authorities for the GO signal! ...well it's not that too close from us, this just amazes me so much, i hav'nt seen any fire so close to my home! i used to play golf at Roosevelt, well i guess it won't be for a while ...now i have to worry about the rattle snakes going away from the mountains going down to close by neigborhoods!!!

I had a medical visit in Pasadena today and the 101 and 5 were horrible drives. With most the Griffith Park exits closed, traffic backed up having to channel to alternate exits. This had impact as far south as the 5 in Norwalk.

The smoke wasn't as bad but still pretty obvious. I just don't understand the mentality behind those who want to cause destruction like this.
