I have a phone interview tomorrow with them tomorrow, just wondering if anybody had any experience with their interview process....and if you remember any questions they asked. Thanks!

Hope this isn't too late, but for LA County, they usually ask only a few questions for the interview, and they are quite direct (meaning, not a vague general question, but something specific and related to your day to day job). I recommend knowing in quite a bit of detail on how the County Board of Supervisors interacts with the Assessor's committee. Did you do a paper test? Good luck.

although not the auditor controller, i interviewed with the assessor's office and from what i remember there were scenario type questions like what would you do if this or that happened? also knowing the duties of the auditor controller is necessary. you should also throw in the word "public service" and stress how important that is to you hahah. good luck with your interview! let us know how it went!
