Default I'm Getting the 07 IS250..Please Help

i didn't know that there was a CL of SoCal section until now
the link below is the thread that I opened in the IS second generation section
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=291364

basically I'm planning on getting the IS250 with Premium, Nav, Spoiler, and the accessories,,trunk mat, wheel lock etc...
and I'm just wondering if you guys can direct me to the right Salesman..
so far..I've contacted Glendale, Longo, Newport, and Beverly Hills Lexus
and surprisingly Beverly Hills Lexus has offered me the best deal so far

they have also offered me $750 cash rebate since I'm in the Marine Corps..

I was quoted $32000 plus Tax..but I think I can do better later since I'll be
purchasing this car towards the end of this month..

thanks for taking your time to read this and thanks for all your help..
looking forward to meet you guys and girls soon..

BTW..is it better to buy on the last day of the Month..or on the last weekend of the Month..found out that 30~31 of July are Monday and Tuesday

have one blessing day everyone!

I just purchased an ES350 after contacting numerous dealerships and I, too, found the best deal at Jim Falk Lexus in Beverly Hills.

I worked with internet sales manager Angela Polasky who was informative and persistent without being pushy.

Lol, don't rush into getting one right away. Try a guy over there at Longo by the name of Marc Fata. He's a pretty busy guy but I'm sure he can arrange an appointment with you to work out a deal. He's pretty popular there. I got a great deal through him.

I really don't like the dinky little spoiler it has. It's like $400!!! If I knew there were the HKS exhaust option, I would have love to get that done, but I didn't know about it.

I've always thought that the best time to buy cars are during the end of the year or at the beginning of the year due to strain on inventory. I never bought one in the summer before.

Yes, you can. Check out this main Lexus website. Just tell the dealer you want this added to your cost of the IS250 and they'll add the difference and install it for you. I would say don't get the spoiler but use the money to get the HKS exhaust system. It's around $500-$600 I think. I haven't inquired about this yet but from the Carson Toyota's Lexus L-Tuned website, they go for $575:

BRAND NEW ** HKS 06-07 IS250/350 CATBACK EXHAUST
http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=2348

Here's the accessory listing directly from www.lexus.com:. The best thing about it is that Lexus promotes it!!!
http://www.lexus.com/models/IS/acces...st_by_HKS.html

Ha, they have it listed for $1,500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I say get it from L-Tuned (order it now if that's what you want and have them install it when you go in for financing), or install it yourself. See what the dealer says first though.

thats not the same exhaust
the first link is the aftermarket hks exhaust
the second link is the oem lexus hks exhaust

the cheapest way to get the oem hks exhaust is to buy it form sewell look:
http://beta.lexus-parts.com/parts_de...id=86361&all=Y
remember club lexus members get an extra 10% off

both are completely different exhaust the after market is big and rice and loud!! the oem exhaust is more elegant and the sound is nice.

thanks guys..I saw that the aftermarket HKS exhaust is way bigger than the OEM HKS..not trying to put a big exhaust,,just wanna get little louder and keep the luxury and elegant look..
anybody lives near by Beverky Center? would love to hear in person..
everything sounds different when you hear in person...
but thanks again for the links and extra info!
have a great day!

Looks like the Lexus OEM HKS is the best bet, at a premium cost!!! Man, that darn thing is expensive. Is this really a cat-back?

I mean, what's that canister in the middle of the car? Pictured in the far right. It looks like a "third muffler"? Resonator? Catalytic convertor? What diameter are those pipes in the back? 2.5"? How big are the orginal stock pipes?

It seems like all the aftermarket HKS are HI-POWER. I guess HKS designs a special less agressive design for Lexus direct.

I'm in Los Angeles, near by Beverly Hills..
and..
I'm not a big fan of a LOUD exhaust..unless it's Ferrari or Lambo..
used to own 06 G35 coupe 6MT..and I liked the way it sounded..
little quite under 3K but a WOT once you pass 3~4K..and that's what
I'm looking for..
and it seems that HKS plus Intake will give me that on IS250..

I sure wish mine came from the port of Long Beach with the OEM sport exhaust. Didn't even know the IS came wish such an option.
