My sales person at Longo was great... easy going, and got EXACTLY what I wanted.. and yes it was special ordered. So it's all a matter of who you talk to.
Agreed... thats exactly what I experienced with various dealerships & sales reps here in So Cal.!

When you made your Special Order @ Longo.. where you expected to pay MSRP???

I bought my car back in 2006.. so negotiating was a bit tougher ... especially with the options I wanted here in So Cal. I did get it below MSRP.. but not by much. I paid 43,500 OTD back then... I'm sure it's much cheaper now. But I was happy that my sales guy (Sabino ) was able to get EXACTLY the car I wanted... down to the simple thing of having no front plate drilled in.

Well it looks like you got a great deal!! If your OTD price included all the Taxes & fees, you did pretty good...
Back in 2006 the MSRP sticker on your car should have been approx. $44,000 (give or take a couple hundred)

I wanted to Special Order there too, but they expected me to pay FULL MSRP plus Taxes, Title & Lic fees...

Ya it included all the fees and stuffs... The finance manager was good too. Very flexible on how I could pay my car..etc. Didn't try to upsell me some crappy stuff that I didn't need or want. Why waste each other's time right?

Overrall it took about 1 1/2 hours to get the car processed and driven off the lot... almost as fast as my experience when I bought the Scion TC in Irvine. Great sales rep there too.

Sounds like they went below dealer invoice for you???
Your $41,800 included all Taxes, Title & Lic fees???

BTW - In your 1st post of this thread you never stated where and who you purchased from....

Your 2007 IS350 with:

Nav ML Pkg - VN
Lux. Pkg w/18's - LT
Pfd Accesory Pkg - Z1

MSRP sticker on your car is = $44,822
Actual dealer invoice is = $40,461

I haven't seen anyone here get that out the door price for an IS350 equipped with those packages/options..

do NOT go to Riverside. If you go to Riverside they will give you AIDS as you sign the papers.

Yeah - your OTD price looks much more accurate now...

My MSRP price was off by $69... this tells me you have the Z2 Pfd Acc Pkg, which comes with the "Rear Bumper Aplique"..

yea....and Im debating taking that "rear bumper Aplique" off. does it even serve a purpose.. mabe for the back-up cam,??? it has a very sharp corner that seems to catch all the dirt, and as apose to being simular to a clear bra you can really see the corners

It was put there to protect the top portion of the rear bumper...
from getting scratched or messed up by things you may put in / or take out of the Trunk!!

yea, thats what I thought too. Not to get too far off the point of this thread.....but..I was also thinking that it dimmed the glare if the sun hit it in the right spot for the back up cam.....only the cars with nav are coming out with this ive found out.
