Has there been any pure IS meets before? Is any of such meets going to happen in the near future?

Plenty. You will usuall find the IS only meets organized at my.IS. But since many of us are members of both...we usually include everyone.

we've had pure 2is mini-meets before, and turnout is really good. usually we caravan to another location afterward for food/drinks, so that's something to think about as well.

haha as you guys can see I'm a total noob about cars and I don't have experience of setting meets up. I just want to go to a meet and see all the beautiful ISs out there. dont know if i should bring mine cuz it has no mods and stupid flying rock chips chipped my car =( embarassed to show it to public. but i'm down for a meet =D

 

also this idea popped up because a very good friend of mine showed me some pix of his e60 meet in malibu. I was thinking "yes yes very nice and sexy cars...we IS aren't bad either...why can't we have a decent meet like them!?"

he was all talking about driving on the windy mountain road with all the other e60s and set the gear at 2 and redline it to achieve the max power during turn. I was like that really strains the engine and he said "well BMW can take it." >=((((((((

I think we should meet up about 2-3 hours before sunset and have a photoshoot about an hour before the sunsets. I say meet in a parking lot since its so dam hot in So Cal, I sweat just by standing.
