Rominl, try Mark Fata?
I have know him for years (he used to be with Import Showoffs) and we were able to purchase our IS250 with zero haggling involved (below invoice). Not sure what pricing he'll give you, but you can tell him John with the Is250/335i sent you.

ive never been to longo lexus before and i drive by it sometimes. Their sales department is not very good. They had this whole "were the biggest" blah blah and everyone else sucks talk that almost everyone i talked to gave me. I will agree that they will probably have the most cars at any given time, but good luck getting a good deal.

I have had very good experiences with Ben Hodor. I'm not sure he's still there or not but we purchased several cars from him at Longo and at Lexus Mission Viejo before that.
When I bought my last Lexus (the LX470) we didn't go through Ben because I got a better deal by a few hundred dollars by staying in our own backyard (Mission Viejo). What a huge mistake that was.
End of the day... Lexus Mission Viejo is the worst Lexus dealership we've ever experienced in going on 17 years of Lexus ownership in N.CA, S. CA and AZ.

And I never knew buying a car had so much to do with race and "sticking together." But I shouldn't be surprised I guess...race bubbles right beneath the surface in many issues in the world. I just never realized how important it was in a simple car purchase.
So, should I only buy from black salespeople so I get the best possible deal? Wait...I'm black (mom's side) AND Filipino (dad's side) so I think I might have a hard time finding someone to give me a good deal, lol

Don't know if you worked out a deal or not but I also bought my IS from Longo Lexus. They were not my first choice, by the way but I was referred to them by Peter Mehanna from Toyota of Claremont (who was a very, very good friend of someone I know). There, I was referred to Mark Fata by Peter whom they are good friends. You can see how that worked out. Worked out a great deal with no down.
As far as race goes, Longo clientelle are generally asian though. But it shouldn't matter when it comes down to financing. If you worked at a job for a long time and have excellent credit along with average income, you're down for a good deal. Peter and Mark are both Indian I believe and I'm asian, but it still worked out for me.

who cares what kind of ethnicity the salesman is.
we as a leverage, need only 3 pieces of info from people who recently bought new cars.
1-type of car (exact model)
2-which dealer-salesman name
3-out the door price
THAT'S IT!
remember guys, don't get hung up on the biscuits and coffee.
this is what you say when you call the dealer:
"Yo Foo, I'm looking for a 2007 GS base model. My friend just bought one for 55,000 out the door at Bla bla bla. I have a credit rating of 720 and have a 10 thousand dollar down payment. I can bring it to you in 45 minutes. Can you do it or not? DON'T WASTE MY TIME because there are 25 other lexus dealers within a 50 mile radius"
they can either take the deal or let the next dealer take the deal. What would u do as a salesman ?
now keep in mind guys, you can't do this if you have a credit score of 550 and zero to little down payment.
