anyone know of a good shop that can do my 90k service for a gs300 in torrance/gardena area.

i know todd from tm engineering can do it but he's hard to get ahold of.

anyone has any other leads. i haven't tried toyota dealers but wondering if anyone has references that they can trust.

Son is always easy to get ahold of and deal with. Give him a call, he's a master tech that used to work at a Lexus dealership, he's got a lot of customers from the so cal area that trust him completely.

 

i highly highly recommend THE TOY SHOP in torrance, on sepulveda next to western, they specialize in toyota only and i have know the owner for over 7 years, they do good work, i just did my 90k service there last week, ask for eric 310-534-8428

since we are on this subject, anyone know any good place to get my 90K done around OC or rowland heights, other than dynamic.

 

ted, i'm near rowland heights too and heading to dynamic for some work in the next few weeks. i've heard great things and just want to try them out to see what all the hype is about. if they're that great, i wouldnt mind making the drive for great service. i've heard there's a place on colima/fullerton in rowland heights that does service. i think behind the carl's jr. check them out. but i dont know how their quality is.

to revive this...what are you guys paying and getting for said 90k service?

i'm getting all sorts of stuff thrown at me from dealers, so the aforementioned dynamic or TM might be the safe ticket to minimal rip-offs

I just came from there to make an appt. I'm getting the 90k service done there and I have to say his quote is reasonable compared to what the Lexus dealer quoted me. Overall, I was impressed with the shop very clean...a sleuth of our cars which says to me that his reputation is impeccable other than what you guys have said. I can't wait!

 

I had my car serviced there and I have to say this guy is AWESOME! He charged me half of what the dealership would have charged me for the 90k service, tensioner replacement, new brakes and battery. He also showed me the old parts and didn't have to replace my plugs as they were new anyway. Most shops would've changed plugs eventhough it was not deemed necessary. I'll be going to him from now on for major services. I highly recommend them!
