Hi all, the reason I'm in the Socal section of CL is to ask the members to help me out by visiting the Iforged factory in Anaheim California and verifying some wheels for me. I'm in the process of purchasing a set of Iforged Essen from a classified listing located here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=306732 and need your help to make sure that it's not a scam since it's a high dollar amount item. So if anyone is kind enough(moderator preferred) to go and check out these wheels for me located at the Iforged factory, then I am willing to compensate them for there time. why are these AT iforged in Anaheim? if the seller bought these, shouldnt they be at his place of residence?

also, if these were mounted already, where's the tires and are there any pics showing the balance weights on the interior of the wheels? those pics posted, look as if they just came off a crated pallet. also, any pics of the wheels on the seller's GS300?

 

The seller claims to work for Iforged and these were on his 2000 GS300. As far as I know, the tires were taken off of these wheels and transferred over to his new set of wheels. The picture that were taken of these wheels I was told is at the Iforged factory therefore I would need someone from Socal to swing by there and check them out for me to make sure that these wheels actually exist and it's not a scam. I have the sellers info at Iforged and will contact him tommorow to verify that he does work at Iforged because the seller contacted me today using his cell number. If you could help me out, I would appreciate is alot. Thanks.

 

i was there and saw some iforged stuff, but its a dinky warehouse at best. had three youngsters and place was just about as unprofessional as it got.

would i paypal them...tough call, but then i'm sure ebay is also full of even worse places and we've all bought off there

 

is the seller vincent? if so, he is one of the owners of iforged. just make sure you pay with a credit card via paypal so if anything happens you can dispute the charges.

yea, if the person you're dealing with is vince.. he's one of the owners.

 

I don't think it is vince....He's trying to buy it from the wheel classified forums...

 

Sorry for the late response guys. Yes, I went ahead and purchased the wheels from Vince already. And yes, it's Vince from Iforged that is selling me the wheels. I hope to get them sometime next week.
