Default Mechanic recommendation in/near Brea, CA

Hi all,

My search goes on for a GS300/400...

I need to find a good mechanic who can do a pre-purchase inspection on a 1998 GS400 in Brea, CA.

Does anyone know of a shop I can call to do this?

Thanks in advance!

welcome to CL it's probably quite far from Brea, but I know this guy in Fullerton, he specialist in Lexus & Toyota. He probably don't mind check the car if you can somehow bring the car to him.....

he's been my 'mechanic' guy that my family trust....

phone : (714) 870-4589 his name is Bryan. website : http://www.fullertonhills.net/

Haha, I live right next to this guy but I've never been there. I live in amerige heights and I always pass by this place but never really had the opportunity to go there. I'll call them tomorrow to see how much an oil change is =P.

Okay, I realized I called the wrong number, but when I did call he said that he doesn't do any installations for the car, I.E. (exhaust, intake, etc.) and that an oil change is the basic $80.00. Sigh.......I'm dissapointed

I live in Placentia. Probably like 5 minutes away from you. Can you DIY?

If not my dad owns a shop in Anaheim near Disneyland. Just bring your oil and filter and he can do it for you for $20.

Yeah, I'm 100% sure I called the right shop. I don't know he asked where I heard about him and when I told him Club Lexus he sounded paranoid or angry and I asked for an oil change price and he said $80.
