so i got a IS250!
as my loaner car!
i was in cerritos running errands in my s2000 and i bust a u-turn and my rear differential made these weird noises so i was like...OH CRAP! so i went to norm reeves honda in cerritos and took a test drive with a tech...and he said...
"sounds like you have a bad differential"
car is brand new..1500 miles picked it up about 3 weeks ago.
so i got hooked up with a IS250 as my loaner car..and all i can say is WOW. fit and finish is immaculate. awesome sound system (it wasnt even the levinson) and despite the small motor...i was doing 80-90mph without even realizing it. the leather is glove soft...my only complaint is the rear C-pillars and rear seats make for horrible blind spots.
if i had to get a sporty 4 door car...lexus IS gets my vote. i had an acura TSX in the past but its got nothing on the IS...

And this is with the 250 imagine the 350
. I drove both at the Taste of Lexus and the 350 simply puts you back in your seat off the line. I have driven a friends ap2 as well and although it lacks a bit of torque down low, theres nothing like that feeling as you build rpms to redline.
