I found a shop in palm springs to do the swap since they've done one already and labor is reasonable I'm dropping it off next Saturday and I'll get the car back sometime mid December. Are there any sc/lexus meets in San Diego?

They're 1 of 3 HKS Pro Shops in the US - meaning they got a trained Japanese dude that can do the EVC, which I'm assuming you're going to get. SP is the other one in Socal, but I see that you don't wanna pay them top dollar.

hey, i have friends in Walnut called CRC (formerly known as C&C).

They are extremely good and i highly recommend. My friend who has an SC also got this swap done by them. The owner who owns an IS300 also has this swap done to this car as well. They do a lot of other swaps as well that I have seen myself.
