Hi SoCal Members,

Do you know of any delays in USPS transit times from SoCal due to the fires? A CL member had shipped something I purchased last Friday from Oceanside to NorCal and I still have not received it. I've never had more than a 2-3 day transit time on packages from SoCal to NorCal.

theres defiently a delay. i just ordered something from sd on monday finally got it yesterday. usually takes only a day.

depends on what service he used...if he shipped it parcel (the cheapest) it takes longer. Priority service is the one takes 2-3 days. I ship ebay stuff and it doesn't take more than two days for anything shipping within California, using 1st class or priority.

I shipped a pkg and the lady said there was going to be a delay because some of the trucks could not get in/out of certain areas..... Said even if the freeway was open, if the air was bad, it was up to the drivers to decide out of health concerns.

i think if you go to the usps website, it tells you any delays. Whether it may be a flood at a specific postal store or what not. But i do remember seeing it. Certainly, there are also delays on holidays, but i'm sure you know this too.
