Bumper damage and one of the parking sensors fell off. Definately will need a new bumper and paint service (his ES is Smoky Granite).
Should he bring it to his Lexus service tech (Dorothy Lunney, Lexus of Cerritos; she really takes good care of us), or should he try to get it fixed somewhere else that is more reliable/specialized? Suggestions?

The dealerships will just outsource the work to a body shop that you can just go to directly - and of course they'll charge you way more. Best bet would be to ask your dealership what body shop they use (they're usually not shy about telling you) or you can find a number of Lexus certified body shops which do their work to factory spec.

What kind of car did you bring to them? Cause I went to check them out once and the shop looked kinda run down - not what I was expecting from their ads in LA Auto Guide, you know the ones with the red RX-7 and the Aston Martin...anyway, the dude said he specializes in classic cars.

Longo collision center did a nice job on my fender..only the slight variation in orange peel makes the repair noticeable...but I know where to look for it. Otherwise, only a very discerning eye might find it.
Beto's Body shop in Fullerton did my front bumper and while it is not a perfect match, it is quite acceptable and again, most wouldn't notice the slight shade variation. Considering the car is a pearl white and 10 years old...
They also did mo-in-law's bumper on her 02' Accord and her's is dead on. Taking a pic of the car usually shows up color differences...on hers, you can't see it. Same metal flake size, orange peel...excellent. (Jay recco'd this place to me BTW.)
