I'm going to be in SD this weekend for my friends birthday.. and wondered if you guys can recommend a place that good music and atmosphere hopefully nothing that is tooo expensive... Probably the Gaslamp area... I've been to Decos a couple of times..

I would say Visions no doubt. No cover and no dresscode. Very chill *** place.

i guess you can say somewhere "jiggy".. regular club music.. but if theres any place that has "good" hip hop that would be nice.. nothing tooo buji.. cant do that..

visions is your answer. also henry's pub in gaslamp. they play some sick hiphop shizz in there, its a mix crowd. visions is more of the asian crowd

If ur in LA go to the Standard! The one in downtown. Best place IMO.

the birthday girl picked the Derby.. its a pretty tight spot.. really good hip hop/funk/jazz good atmosphere.. you should go if you havent been..

Anywhere in LA is good.. just as long as they have the "LA Hotdogs" right outside.. OOOOoooOOhhhHHh yeah. =)

Those are what we call "dirty dogs" but they are SO good at 230 in the morning!!

I dont know if I have been to the Derby.... If I have I was probably a little tipsy and dont remember... lol.

there is a Taco place in LA that is open 24hrs for the weekend and right after 2 am, it gets crowded, a lot of folks hit that spot up after the clubs...

its called El Taurino. the place doesnt look that great, but the grub is off the hook...
