Anyone going this Saturday (Nov 24th)? My son and I will be there around noon or so from Rosemead. If you guys like we can head out together. I am near Garvey Ave. and San Gabriel Blvd.

 

I went yesterday (wed) at 5pm. It was nice not that many people there and the ISF dyno was litterally a 5 minute wait. I would actually go today if you have time, they close at 8.

I would avoid going fri, sat, and sun due to the extreme crowds.

 

I was thinking of going Friday morning, because I figured most people would be doing Black Friday.

 

I went today, and man was it packed :O

 

i went on opening friday and it wasnt that bad at all

ran into phil and javy there

 

I went on thursday to the sneak preview night and there was no one there, it was awesome. I say the IS-F and the 5axis IS-F... I also played the driving game of the IS-F that they had and i won a IS-F game

dont go on the weekend. i went this past monday and it was still really crowded. drive the IS-F on the dyno then go sit in AL &ed's demo car.

I think the IS-F engine was blown today. It wasnt there when I went. I wouldnt be surprise so many dyno runs.

 

Yeah most likely. I cant believe how much abuse that car went through. Get WOT'ed so many times, over and over again. So many people didnt know how to shift right also, during first year many people were hitting the rev limiter. I would like to know what happend to the car.

I actually asked the official there what are they going to do with that IS-F he said, "we are going to destroy it, it can't be here in the U.S.". They don't really care about that car anyways.

 

do you honestly think its a Lexus "official" running the dyno there?

iirc they were having some issues all week so i wouldnt be surprised if something did break. (mechanically or sensor failure)
