i read on edmunds.com that the police are only using the cars with the 250 horsepower V6 engine, not the V8 engine.

Just last weekend for Thanksgiving, I saw CHP rolling in new marked and unmarked Dodge Durangos. Fleets have definitely changed.

I relative of mine is in the CHP and told me that city cops will be using the v6 models. While the CHP will be getting the Hemi V8s. I guess they need the power more on the highways then on the streets.

But Id say its pretty easy to outrun a 250hp Charger, Considering there heavy weight. I don't think most would attempt to run from the law. ( I hope)

Hopefully they have Hemi v8s when I join the force

i live by monterey park pd and there is a mustang and charger... i got pull over one night around 2 am by a undercover gang unit task force with a 92 accord lol
