Look out Alhambra, here comes the Charger
Was out visiting various municipalities and noticed that the city of Alhambra now has 4 of the new Chargers in refit awaiting the police package at their yard. One is already on the road for testing with the other 4 on hold due to some technical issues with fitting the older equipments packages to the new interior and exterior.
They said that the cops were complaining of a few issues here and there and that the car was not as wide as the Crown Vic but expect the force to have 25% Chargers in no time. 340hp V8 with larger brakes.
I did not feel it appropriate to snap pics of the cars at the police refit facility but the one below is very similar.
Your rear view mirror just changed a bit.

thanks for the tip. 
but, i dont speed and am not in alhambra often.
also, not much change. you can still see the big cage in front of the car, still spot the black hood and white pillars along side of the front windshield, if you're careful and can spot the flood lights as well, and you're really good can spot the light bar at night. (hint/hint, chp paint their units slightly different than county/city PD's)
(you'd be amazed the types of cars i can ID at night, just by looking at headlights...........once upon a time, a very looooooooooong time ago) LOL. "I'm too old for this s$%^" LOL

Glendale and Burbank have both marked and Unmarked.
Be cautious of the unmarked ones to those passing through Glendale and Burbank. I have seen a silver, black, & dark blue.

Alhambra has had one for awhile for sure...they also have some unmarked Impalas with dark tinted windows (usually driven by the "Raider Nation" crowd). Tougher to spot unless they turn their strobes on.
I live in South Pas, and seen one Charger cruising the streets so far. And as a matter of fact, I was going home tonight on Huntington Dr. through San Marino and saw a Charger (along with an Expedition) pull over a E39 5-Series.

arcadia and monrovia have a bunch of chargers now...they seem real proud to use em too...they show up to every little call i've seen them 3 times personally arrive to situations lol
