Default Forgive! It's the Holidays.

So I had to go to the USPS to mail something today. I parked my car right in front of the building then went in and did my thing. I came out and got into my car and sat there checking my receipt. In my driver side mirror I see this old lady with white hair pushing a shopping cart coming closer to my car. She is right along side my car and I was thinking in my head, "please don't hit my car". The next thing I hear is a loud scrape right on the driver side of my front bumper and the lady just keeps going on her merry way.The first thing that I said in my mind was "oh hell nooo". I got out of my car and checked to see what kind of damage was done and it wasn't that bad. Even if the damage was really severe I wouldn't even try to get the lady to pay for it because I would feel too bad.
I said to myself that this could be a sign from God and he could be testing me. So I just didn't say anything to the lady and I was just whatever about it, and I wasn't trippin'. She parked her shopping cart in front of the post office and went inside. I left with a positive attitude thinking things will turn out for the best...now I have more reason to get that ISx50 Crystal White paint job

Moral of the story: Forgive and Forget

Here are some pics of my bumper.

Damn. I wouldn't have let that go.

If anything, I would have approached the lady and educated her on proper courtesy and decency to not do such things. You may be nice, but a grumpy menstrual woman or disgruntled man may not be the next time that happens...

I agree with Phil, it's ok to forgive, but you want to make sure they learn from it. She can learn to not force carts between cars.

That is rather forgiving of you. There are times I feel similar...I just don't even want to bother.

I'm with Dr Phil and Bry on this one.
Just saw your car at the xmas meet and its dam sweet. I would've gone ballistic. At least negotiate and have her pay for a bottle of wax, polish, etc. But then again, I'm always a grinch during the holidays...just me.

to you for being so forgiving though.
