there's suppose to be a break in the weather tomorrow morning... so gonna hit up high tmw. hopefully be outta there by 3pm before the next storm rolls in. i rather go sunday but it's suppose to dump all day that day.
n yeah i just saw on the news that 1 or 2 ppo died today at high. they supposedly went out of bounds and got caught in an avalanche. wow avalanche at high?? i would have never imagined! stay safe ppo and stay in bounds!

anyone been to mt baldy? went to big bear this weekend traffic was crazy. Im going to be in west covina this weekend and might as well hit up mt baldy with a bunch of the lil kids to play in the snow

bear is the way to go but im 20 minutes away from MT high lol so usually end up there + lots of FRESH POWDER !!! im probly heading out friday tear up the slopes ALL DAY SON !!!

i rather spend the extra hour to goto bear too but seeing that mt high received more snow this last storm than bear... it's hard to pass it up. plus milking the points pass... i haven't paid for a mthigh lift ticket since 05-06 season. i wish i could go this weekend...

If anyone is gonna go to Bear during a weekend day (sat/sun), I highly suggest you get there super early and get your tix! I was at Bear 2 weeks ago and lift tix were sold out by 9am. I had to park frikkin in the boonies and had to go on 2 cattle carts just to get to the main parking area. Hate those darn cattle carts! Mooooo!

I went there last weekend. it sucked, traffic was horrible and you had to put chains/cables on your car. It was horrible because I swear those things ruins your car making horrible noises when you drive little above 30mph.

^ just hope that it's cold enough that it flurries rather than rains. boarding in the rain is no fun.
get there early too... i was at high last sat and i got there at 830 and was able to grab one of the last available parking spots. everybody else had to park on the street which requires an adventure pass... although barely anybody gets one. i left at 3pm and it took me nearly 2 hours to get back to the 15! i know people that left around 4ish that day and it took them over 3 hours just to get to the 15.
