I don't trust an aftermarket valve holding all my engines oil, might even ruin the threading on the pan. No can do
I work at a dealer and see too many problems with aftermarket filters, and oil plugs. Let alone a valve.
I won't use it. It looks like it will make it easier in a sense you don't take out the plug and put a new gasket and all.

Those valves are more valuable for those who have limited auto experience, and limited tools/lifting space.
For someone who has a lift, things like that are just eh.
I'm more traditional when it comes to maintenance

I had those fumoto drains on my Semi trucks. They work great and lasted the million miles I racked up on them. Never hit a rock and opened, never leaked, and draining 12gallons of hot oil on your arm became a thing of the past.

Stay traditional all you want, but I've had a similar gadget on my car for years and there's no turning back.
The hose directs the oil right into any container you wish.
No need for a wrench, no more drain pans, funnels, etc., nothing to wipe up afterwards and your hands never touch oil.
