i went to downtown disney / california adventure last new year's (2007)....it's sucks...imo. Spent at least 30 minutes to find parking spot and the fireworks was totally...ehh...blah. I'm done w/ fireworks on Disneyland.

There's like 3 massive clubs going on in downtown LA, my friend can't find a hotel room - everything's is booked. 
On a brighter note, it seems like downtown LA is the place to be at this nye.
