Question Todd @ TM Engineering-has anyone heard from him???

I ordered the daizen control arm bushings, credit card was charged and heard nothing from him after 2 emails. There's always an answering machine.
No tracking # or an automatic email response saying when it will be shipped out

It's been a week, so is that considered too early to get any responses???

Just wanted to see if anyone has heard from him lately.

A week is considered early for TMengineering. Hell, even 2 months is early

It's not that easy to get a hold of TMengineering. I buy all my Daizen products from Sewell Lexus instead.

eh...if he can take the money, he can get the work done at a reasonable pace, it's about business ethics.

Well, before ordering, I checked with Darrel and it's on national backorder.
That's why I ordered directly from TM after he responded that they're available.

Todd's a hard guy to get a hold of. Pls be patient.
Lucky for me, being local, when I pm'd him to place an order, he pm'd quickly back. Right then, I called him to set up a pick up time at his shop. GL!

We have one of these threads every month,

Todd is a stand up guy, but he runs a one man show therefore you will probably get his message 9 times out of 10, and things don't go out on time as they should.

He usually stocks daizen bushings and you should be able to drive down there same day and pick them up if you are local. If not I would suggest calling until you get a hold of him, I would just call sporadically throughout the day and I would end up catching him at one time or another.

GL

While Todd might be a great guy, it is often hard to run a successful business with a web front without help. I ordered some eibach pro-kit springs and tokico illumina struts for my IS300 and today I can't get a hold of him via phone or email. Yesterday on the phone he said he would ship out my order today and get me a tracking number as well but I have not heard anything (including many calls throughout the day). He also mentioned the struts were on order and should be in today. If my order was not to ship out today, he said he would let me know today.

When a shop doesn't answer the phone, their voicemail is full and they don't answer email, it reflects extremely poorly on the shop. I placed my order on Friday 3/14 and granted its only been a couple days, the lack of communication does not make me feel good about this transaction. Since I have heard nothing and was really hoping to get this before the weekend (I live in CA also and UPS confirmed 2 day delivery via ground shipping), I have emailed him to cancel the order.

From the sound of it, the shop seems to be top notch. It seems unfortunate that the web portal customer service is so poor.

This is not a flame. Just my 2c.

I know how you felt when there were no answers or follow up.
However, it was a peace of mind that he is a vendor here and a couple of members know him personally.
I also dealt with him personally on a prior purchase, but still a little anxious when you're left in the dark for a bit.
